Child Screening Package (Ages 1–16)

The Child Screening Package (Ages 1–16) is designed to monitor growth and development, detect nutritional deficiencies, identify infections and metabolic disorders at an early stage, and support preventive pediatric healthcare through laboratory tests, imaging studies, and specialist examinations.

Laboratory Examinations

Metabolic and Kidney Function Tests

  • Fasting Blood Glucose (Glucose): Helps in the screening, diagnosis, and follow-up of diabetes.

  • Urea (BUN): Used in the early diagnosis and follow-up of kidney diseases.

  • Creatinine: Used to evaluate kidney function.

  • Complete Urine Examination: Used in the early diagnosis and follow-up of kidney and urinary tract diseases.

Liver Function Tests

  • AST (SGOT): Used in the evaluation of liver, bile duct, and heart-related conditions.

  • ALT (SGPT): Used in the diagnosis of liver and biliary tract diseases.

Electrolyte and Mineral Balance

  • Sodium: Used to evaluate electrolyte balance, acid–base status, and water metabolism.

  • Potassium: Used to assess electrolyte and acid–base balance.

  • Calcium: Used to determine whether blood calcium levels are within normal limits.

Hematological and Iron Status Tests

  • Complete Blood Count (Hemogram): Used in the diagnosis of anemia and various blood and systemic diseases.

  • Iron: Used to evaluate iron levels in the body.

  • Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC): Used to assess iron metabolism.

  • Ferritin: Used in the diagnosis and monitoring of iron deficiency.

Infection and Inflammation Screening

  • CRP (Nephelometric): Used to detect infection and inflammation in the body.

Vitamin and Nutritional Assessment

  • Vitamin B12: Used in the diagnosis of fatigue, weakness, and neurological symptoms.

  • Folic Acid: Used to evaluate vitamin deficiency associated with poor appetite and nail fragility.

  • 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D: Measures Vitamin D levels in the body.

Thyroid Function Tests

  • TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone): Used to evaluate thyroid function.

  • Free T3: Used to assess thyroid hormone levels.

  • Free T4: Used to assess thyroid hormone levels.

Parasitological and Immunity Tests

  • Direct Stool Parasite Examination: Used to detect intestinal parasites.

  • Anti-HBs: Used to determine immunity status against Hepatitis B.

Radiological Examinations

  • Whole Abdominal Ultrasonography: Used to detect diseases and anomalies in intra-abdominal organs such as the liver, kidneys, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, and major vessels.

Cardiological Examinations

  • Electrocardiography (ECG): Used to evaluate heart rhythm and cardiac function.
